“Bike, bike, bike”, everyone knows what a bike is, right? Well, a bike is a very simple machine (you can say that, but I can’t think of anything that’s to be called of a bike) that probably everyone knows and seen one. So a bike is a very simple thing that runs by two wheels and is powered by human being (people). It can be called a bicycle, cycle or bike but a lot of people call it a bike. A bike isn’t easy to ride and when I mean that I mean, you can’t just go straight on the bike and start riding. No, it takes practice and practice until you can get it right. We all learn how to ride a in different ways. A bike is also a way of keeping us fit and healthy by just using our legs to pedal.

A bike runs by two wheels on the back and front. It has a sort of v in the middle upside down, connecting everything together. On the top end of the bike, it has the saddle for you to seat on. From across it are the handlebars, gear shifter and the break lever for you to hold on, change directions and break when you have to stop. Down next to where the wheel is in line with the seat but down below is the pedals for you to put your foot on and turn with your foot. It also has a chain ring and chain so that when you pedal, the pedals turn which makes the chain turn for the bike to move

Bikes were first invented in the 19th centuries ,you might be wondering who invented bike.  Well, there were four people who invented the first bike, so there was Pierre Lallement, Marius Olivier, Pierre Machax and Kirkpatrick Macmillan.A lot of people ride bikes, especially dutch people..A bike can be any color. There are also different types of bikes, there are motorcycle, mountain bike, bike for two which is a tandem bike and a lot more.
